Thank you and please support the Lulu & Leo Fund

We want to thank you for your extraordinary outpouring of love and kindness. Lulu and Leo were 2 of our 3 best friends, and we miss them so much. Our daughter Nessie is very strong, and with your support we will be strong for her.

Earlier this week, we gathered family and friends to celebrate the beautiful lives of Lulu and Leo. It is important to us that they are remembered as the sweet, creative, and fun-loving children that they were.

We are honoring our children by creating the Lulu & Leo Fund. The Fund will support participatory art and science education for young children in schools, museums, and other community institutions. Lulu’s art classes provided some of her most joyful and enriching moments. We’d like to help other children obtain access to similarly great experiences.

More information can be found at lululeofund.org.

As we go forward, we are focused on our 3-year-old daughter, Nessie. It is of the utmost importance to us that she is afforded the opportunity to grow up privately, like any other kid. We ask for your support in ensuring that we achieve this goal for our daughter.

Again, we thank you for your continued thoughts and prayers.

Marina and Kevin Krim

Adjectives

Leo speaks in the most adorable way possible.  Firstly, he speaks super clearly, so you can understand every word is he is saying.  And he does things like, "(I) want a fresh bagel" and "Dito (what he calls himself) wants cold milk" and most adorable of all, "No thank you" - he never uses "No" alone, it's always paired with "thank you".

Friendless Leo

A sad truth about the third child in the family - Leo has not a single friend his age.  He is always surrounded by kids and always ends up tagging along with much older children.  A few days ago, he was pleasantly surprised when he met a fellow 2-year old (sister of a new kid in Lulu's class) at a class parents coffee I attended.  As soon as Hannah arrived, he walked up to her, shared his trains and they were instant buddies.  They completely entertained themselves with many different games of their own creation.  It was super cute.

And The World's Easiest Child Goes To.........

Leo "Lito" Krim!!!!! Yes, the 2 year old boy. One of the best parts of my day is after I drop both girls off at school and have 3 precious hours with little Lito all to myself. Ok, I'm near getting cheesy I adore this boy so much!!! He's obsessed with collecting acorns he finds 'on the floor', he loves riding 'the school bus' and he happily plays by himself for long periods of time. Here he has set up his kitchen in the living room and is "making bacon" (not sure where he learned the word 'bacon').
