Just arrived home from a fun-filled adventure to Grazin' Acres Farm and have a million photos. Happy 1st Birthday, my lil' Leo Lito! I hope you had a fun day collecting eggs from the egg mobiles, apple picking and choosing our pumpkins.
Why does stuff like this always happen to Nessie -- Today while apple picking, there was a stray chicken roaming around the orchard and seemed to have a thing for Nessie. They first had a little stare off about 5 feet from each other. Then, the chicken was more interested and started to make a move. Nessie panicked and started crying hysterically. She started running and the chicken started chasing her. She, then, ended up falling on her butt. I am thrilled to have gotten it all on camera!!!!!
And one more quick story before I dedicate my next posts to Leo and his birthday (which we haven't technically celebrated yet since we were out of town) -- While we were helping our friends at Grazin' Acres Farm collect the eggs, Nessie decided that she was just not into it and wanted to stay in the car. So, we left her in the car for at least 15 minutes, just sitting there by herself. When we got back, she was sitting there content as can be and looking pleased that she didn't have to deal with more bawking chickens. Nessie is such an odd, independent, Doddles the second. We're picturing her sitting in the lodge on a snowy day, drinking hot chocolate alone while the rest of the family is out skiing....!!!
